What About Pet Insurance?

What About Pet Insurance?

With the advancements in veterinary medicine and the changing role of pets, you might wonder about the value of pet insurance. Should you invest in a policy or pay as you go? Choosing the right policy depends on your pet's type, age, and health history. While most clinics, including ours, expect payment at the time of service and do not process claims, we assist with filling out and submitting forms.

Insurance plans vary widely, covering anything from wellness visits to major medical expenses. We recommend getting a plan early, ideally when your pet is still a baby or immediately after adopting a healthy adult pet. This preemptive approach offers peace of mind during major medical events. We don't endorse any specific insurance provider but have had positive feedback about various companies. For more options, visit Pawlicy.
