Hailee is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She was drawn to veterinary medicine after her six-year-old Border Collie, Worf, died from squamous cell carcinoma. She needed a much better understanding of what happened to him. She registered for classes on-line and secured a position as a veterinary assistant. After five years she was finally eligible to challenge the Veterinary Technician’s National Exam, which she passed and earned her Veterinary Technicians License. “I still do not understand the vile disease of cancer,” she says, “but I now feel confident that I did everything I could for my dying pet.”
Hailee is very proud to be a life-long Seahawks Fan. “I was cheering them on when Warren Moon was their quarterback and have continued to support them through good and bad seasons. Go Hawks!!!” Her co-workers will attest to the joy that Hailee felt when the Hawks won the Superbowl!!!!
Hailee loves Veterinary Medicine but considers her marriage and family her greatest achievement. “I am blessed to have a job I love, to live in the most beautiful place on Earth, and to be surrounded by family that loves and supports me.”
Hailee is a Pacific Northwest native born and raised in Oregon. She moved to Washington state where she met her husband, Greg. They have three grown sons, three daughters-in-law, and six grandchildren. Still in the home is 12-year-old Border Collie, Maggie, who is very fond of her safe zone, the family coat closet. She is at her happiest when the Seahawks make a touchdown; she grabs up her green and blue, fuzzy Seahawks football and squeaks it like the #1 fan she is!
