Helping with Cat and Dog Behavior Problems
Behavioral problems can often result in a pet being re-homed or surrendered to the Humane Society, so we understand how crucial it is to get you and your pet back on track and in sync. We offer limited pet behavior counseling to start the training process and work to make sure your pet is not acting out due to a medical problem. We’ll start with an exam to check for signs of a health issue. If necessary, we can use our connections to several trainers and behavioral counselors to aid you on your journey to a happy, emotionally healthy pet.
Offering Guidance on Pet Nutrition
A balanced diet is just as necessary for our pets as it is for us! Diabetes, joint pain, kidney disease, dental disease, and bladder stones are all examples of medical problems that can be managed with a proper diet. Our in-house dietary consultant is an expert at figuring out which diet from which company will best suit your pet’s nutritional needs.
We carry Hills Prescription Diets, Royal Canin Veterinary Diets, and Purina Veterinary Diets if that is what your pet’s palate prefers. Our licensed technician has worked with the manufacturer’s veterinarian to develop plans for specific health problems. We have weight loss plans, diabetes management plans, urinary health plans, and renal health plans, just to name a few.
