Karalynn and her husband, Eric, are the parents of two daughters, Jill and Amy. As a family, they run the E & K Cattle Company. Raising beef for show and sale, they also raise an assortment of poultry and bunnies. Karalynn is a steadfast supporter of 4-H and FFA. The family farm houses cattle, swine, bunnies and poultry for FFA students and 4-Her’s who are unable to keep livestock at their homes.
Karalynn’s family has lived in the Dungeness Valley for over 60 years. Her interest in vet medicine started at the tender age of five and she has volunteered and worked in animal related businesses most of her life. Karalynn attended Washington State University and worked toward an Animal Science Degree. Life pulled her back to the Peninsula, but her interest in Veterinary Medicine did not falter.
The family is watched over by a Border Collie mix named Kit whose motto is: “Look busy!” Peaches the Chihuahua makes sure you don’t arrive unannounced and Skittles, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is the happy-go-lucky greeter. Cats Cheeto, White Socks, and Patches patrol the farm and kittens Fava, Bean and Peggy (a three-legger) are the house Princesses.
