Providing the Best of Everything for Your Pet
Because the lifespan of our pets is typically less than ours, we stress the importance of preventative care through regular physical examinations. Thorough check-ups can help avoid serious health problems.
Internal Medicine is the art of applying scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to diagnose, treat, and care for pets. Allergies, heart problems, hormone issues, infectious disease, and arthritis would all be examples of what Internal Medicine can find. Our Doctors have a wide range of experience which creates a wonderful blend of educated minds. The Doctors all share a common office and discuss cases regularly, so even if you are seeing one Doctor, you have the resource of all three!!
Surgeries are preformed under anesthesia, closely monitored by a Licensed Technician. We LOVE dentals at Blue Mountain Animal Clinic!! It is one of the most satisfying services we offer because animal mouths are so often overlooked that when a Dental is done, the pet feels like a puppy or kitten again!!!
Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions, and oral surgery. All of our Doctors are trained by a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist to grade, evaluate, and perform oral surgery as needed. Our Technicians have also been well trained by Veterinary Dentists. One of our Technicians is currently studying to become a Board Certified Dental Technician!
To perform a Dental, we begin with a series of digital X-rays of your pet's mouth to make sure that what we see on the outside matches what is going on under the gum line. Our Ultrasonic cleaner allows us to thoroughly remove tarter from your pet's teeth. We use bubble gum or mint polish to remove any excess plaque! Imagine!! Your dog with minty-fresh breath!!!
Laser therapy is a great way to help treat pain and injuries. It is not the typical “Hot or Cutting” laser you may be thinking of. It is a non-invasive treatment that uses a coherent light (photon beam). This light stimulates cells and circulation in the treated area to decrease inflammation and stimulate growth of healthy cells.
Treating a myriad of conditions, we can put it to use for: Degenerative Joint disease and Pain, Spinal Disc Disease, Arthritis, Ear Disease, Dental Disease, and Chronic Anal Glands, just to name a few. Put to use after surgical intervention, a laser speeds healing time and reduces the associated inflammation.
We provide diagnostic electrocardiograph and blood pressure monitoring services on-site as well as consultation with cardiology specialists for more advanced diagnostics.
Advanced Pain Control
Our entire patient care team understands that animals suffer pain. Sometimes the pain is obvious, but other times it is subtle, such as an older cat sleeping all the time or an older dog who just doesn't want to go on walks anymore. We are trained observers of the signals pets send out when they are in pain. Our Doctors have studied advanced pain control protocols and are ready to help your pet live more comfortably, both in the short term (such as, injuries or surgery), and in the long term (such as, arthritis and nerve pain). With a multi-modal approach which can include physical rehabilitation, acupuncture, supplements, and/or medications, we are ready to help your pet feel better!

Sometimes it is important that we let pets go in a place they are the most comfortable in. On their couch, in their yard, or on mom or dads lap in the recliner are all options with a Home Euthanasia. Each pet is an individual and we want your pet's last moments to be surrounded with peace, love, and tranquility. Your grieving process can start in your own safe haven surrounded by family and memories of your pet. Not an option for every pet, Home Euthanasia is provided on a case-by-case basis.
